Can a Member ride a horse with British Dressage (BD) points in Pony Club Area Dressage Competitions?

Please note that you will need to check the full eligibility rules to ensure that the horse and rider satisfy all other requirements for the competition/level.

Any horse that is graded Preliminary (0 to 49 points) or Novice (50 to 124 points) can be ridden at any level. Horses that are graded Elementary (125 to 199 points) or above can only be ridden at Open level.

The only limitation is on any horse that has competed at Advanced Medium level or above during the current year which cannot be used for any level of Pony Club Area Dressage Competition.
